Cornerstone trip

This is my first time updating with blogger and on our new website, so this will be a little bit of a trial run. Any comments or suggestions would be welcome!
I took my Cornerstone (discipleship) girls to Dillsburg, PA, to watch a junior quiz rally on Saturday. It was a beautiful spring day and we saw so many cows, horses, sheep, and goats along the road as we passed the farms. We really enjoyed watching the quizzers. Even though we didn't have an official team, we had been practicing the same questions and verses as the other kids, so we were guessing quietly in our seats. The quiz was over Acts 8:1-9:31--Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch and Paul's conversion were the main stories. So exciting to go through the verses with the girls who had never heard these stories before. After the quiz rally, the Dillsburg team let us follow them to nearby park where we were able to have a picnic and play. Their team also ended up staying with us to eat, play, and then do a mock quiz rally on the picnic benches, so my girls could see what one was like. They loved it! Then we headed back home to Philly. Thank you, God, for beautiful weather, fellowship with believers from other places, your Word, and my awesome girls' group!
